I forgot to mention but all graphics are since last week a Pinterest Board. It looks a lot better than the overview and it allows commenting. Which is cool. The only thing I’m missing is a search function.

The last weeks have been a little strange, but in a good way. I have spend the last weeks on several things.
Summaries of several presentations and articles
Some of you may have seen my previous blog with some articles about visualization. The articles where actually some of my notes for the thesis. I started around November 2010 with some thesis subject orientation. The only thing I knew was that it would be something about data visualization.
The Graphics Overview: how it started
Around April 2011 I started thinking about creating a collection of interactive graphics from The New York Times and the Guardian. It would be for my thesis, I liked to incorporate some quantitative analysis in the chapters. Then I thought ‘Wouldn’t it be great if it would be online so I can see it wherever I am?’. And maybe a little form where you can insert data and it will automatically be uploaded to the database?
